Muzz has a SHORTER contract than McD.

Muzz is owed FEWER actually dollars than McD.

goalposts keep moving! he may play in more games than Muzz, but for a young guy, Raz has already had some durability/injury issues.

and that's just step one, show up. step two is perform, where again, I am highly skeptical Raz will outperform Muzz in any meaningful way (this season at least - the future may be different).

I have no issue with your argument that we should trade Muzz to upgrade the forwards, but let's not pretend that subtracting Muzz from our current D corps somehow makes our D better today...

LOF: Muzzin is horrible. Useless, broken, and a terrible player. But his contract is good and they'll get a 1st and a prospect for him.
Us: Muzzin is great and on a fair contract, and having the playoff version of Muzzin for next years playoff run could be game-changing!
