it's okay, we know. I am happy to agree to disagree and move on with the offseason if you are! next offseason one of us will get to say I told you so (or we will continue to disagree on Muzz' performance :p)
 
oh man, I assume there would be an epic uprising around here if Mraz is on our opening day roster next year?

I actually don't think I'd mind too much but that's cause I think goalies are voodoo and Mraz will bounce back to at least league average. but I suspect I am in the minority.
 
I mean he can't shit on his goalie publicly at this stage. Gotta extract all the value you can out of him. Otherwise if it's too costly then the buyout is the ONLY option. You want both of your guys with a bit more upside than .910 next year. Mrazek's best case scenario sucks ass. If you're gonna roll the dice on a guy that probably sucks, I prefer a likely much cheaper, but potentially higher ceiling, Comrie.
 
You know who had a beastly playoffs for the avs? Josh Manson and is a ufa who had a 4.1 mill cap hit. 30 years old.

If offered 5 million, maybe the avs can't pay it
.trade muzzin for cap space and picks. Use that money on Manson and you have a younger, more durable, nastier RD with cup winning experience.

This makes room for Sandin

Yeah, no reason to freak out about pretty much anything he says in public at this point. It’s disinformation season for NHL GM’s.

If it shakes out that we roll into next season with Mrazek still on a roster, that’s a fireable offense, but that’s still a long ways off.
