Losing Muzz doesn't mean you gain nothing!
You get the trade package of potential futures and maybe a roster player, or you get a really good forward either in the trade (Miller?) or using the freed up space. Sandin finally steps in and gets to play, giving us a much more mobile and durable backend. The team will get BETTER.

We're all going to joke about ex Leafs getting overpaid (Hi Edmonton!) in free agency, but it's the other side of this same coin we've been very happy with over the last few years.
