Last Year F IN: Bunting, Kampf, Kase, Ritchie

This Year F OUT: Mikheyev, Blackwell, Kase, Spezza
This Year F IN: Kubel, (Kids fulltime?)


Probably be a good idea to swap Holl's cap for a forward. But otherwise I think I want to play the kids.

These are providing zero comfort, except showing paying Jack big money is a mistake.

What happens to Murray if you remove those last two games?
 
They need to add a legit top 6 goal scorer.

kubel is a good Soezza replacement. I am also all in on play the kids, but Robertson is really the only one that we can realistically hope can provide too 9 offense. Otherwise it’s guys like Anderson, Holmberg, Steeves etc competing for 4th line spots. But I think Robertson has the potential to be an upgrade on Kase.

but then you still need to replace Molly’s 20 goals from last year. And then you are just as good as last year, with maybe worse goaltending.

going into the offseason I wanted them to improve their goaltending and improve on their depth scoring ( Mikky, Kerfoot, Kase, Engvalll).

so far is been an underwhelming offseason. I imagine they will add a guy like Milano or Heinen or someone like that, that is willing to take $900k. But not sure that’s enough.
 
To be fair, you wanted them to improve their playoffs depth scoring, not their regular season depth scoring (50gl 3rd line and 40gl 4th line)
 
Is a guy like Sam steel an option? Good Jr career, decent AHL numbers and okay NHL number but not qualified at 24 years old.

true. They can always get a Lehkonen type at the deadline for nothing, or ideally something better.
 
Yeah I'm all for giving the kids a shot and then adding upgrades at the deadline.

One more versatile 3rd line center type would be nice though.
