So the worst case safe scenario for the forwards, at this point,

Bunting - Matthews -Marner
Kerfoot - Tavares - Nylander
Engvall - Kampf - Jarnkrok
Aube-Kubel -

with the hope that some kids play well enough to bump some of these guys down some notches.

Of course, I wouldn't be shocked if in Dubas' mind Jarnkok is a Kerfoot replacement and that we may trade Kerf now for a cheaper different forward.

This is adequate. Can throw Malgin in there as well as one of the potentials. Just would have hoped (and still do hope) for an upgrade on Kerf there. I haven't seen his stats or nerdies recently but I would think the old version of Nino would be perfect for that third line there instead of Kerf. Don't think he'd cost any more and you can pocket the assets for Kerf and Holl.

I'd be down for Niederreiter. He still has good enough speed and moves to be good for a few more years.

And then trade Muzzin for even moarrr offense.

I mean Nino is a big physical 30yr old who's scored at around a 30gl/50pt pace the last 2yrs with very limited 2nd unit PP time.

He'd be an absolute beauty get but I don't know how he doesn't get $5+ mil.

I'm guessing he's looking for $5M from someone right now? Maybe he's looking for some term and can be had for $3.5M by adding a 4th or 5th year, not that that would be the safest thing to do.
