Should be going all in at this point. Jobs should be on the line. Move Kerfoot + Holl for hopefully someone significantly better. Improve the team that made the playoffs last year. Picks are good for nothing at this point. 2 years left on Matthews deal.
Maybe keep some picks to trade when we inevitably get fucked and need to offload Murray.

at what point do people stop acting like our D is bad? because i'm still seeing people say it needs upgrading and i find that completely puzzling.

they're going to want some futures if they move Kane. Like Sandin and a 1st for instance.
but that is the type of splash Dubas needs to make. Adding a Kane would show Matthews/Marner they're serious about winning and doing better in the playoffs than the last 6 times.
It's the exact type of "over the top" move that champions make. Leafs need to win in the next 1-2 seasons. Many things could change after that.

It's quite shocking to read how terrible it is everyday. The fact we are supposed to have no depth because of 4 forwards 40 milion is funny because we have terrific depth on D.
