I just don't buy into these stats to evaluate a player's performance.
What is this one guy doing that is so directly influencing what the other 9 guys are doing? Is he somehow stifling 5 players' shot attempts all by his lonesome? I could see this stat being interesting to see just how much a guy like McDavid or Matthews might control play, but that's because they really are almost singlehandedly controlling play when they're on the ice usually. And there's only a handful of guys that it would even matter for.
Thats what sample size is for though.
If over the course of 100's of minutes of ice time and with a bunch of different linemates a player is helping the puck go in the right direction, to the right areas of ice, thats him influencing that even if its hard to understand how he does it.
Also thats what rel # is for. All these models isolate impact.
that stat lists "against Colorado", so we are talking about hundreds of seconds of sample size here.
(i do like Puljujarvi though)

Ah so lebrun says they're asking for $3.5m, which makes perfect sense.
Whoever was floating that silly $5m rumor was doing their usual leafs trolling.
But yeah - the decision is basically between keeping mikky or kerf. I'm not sure which is more valuable given that kerf can play C. Then again we could also get something in a trade for kerf too.
Mikky >>> Kerf. Besides only 1 year left of Kerf anyway while we’d be getting mikky for term. No brainer.Ah so lebrun says they're asking for $3.5m, which makes perfect sense.
