Trade Deadline 2014

This is a great deal for St. Louis, who only had one area to upgrade in order to be a true Cup contender: between the pipes.

This should once and for all silence the "We should have kept Halak and traded Price" crowd. Halak couldn't hang on to the #1 job with the Blues and they obviously had lost confidence in him. For once, the Habs traded the right guy.
 
TSNBobMcKenzie: I'm told there aren't likely to be any more BUF moves tonite. I'd say BUF will try to flip Jaro Halak to MIN and Chris Stewart to OTT.

Halak isnt built to be a number 1 65+ game goalie
 
Stewart and Halak didnt fit long term , but they are going all in for a cup this year , good deal for both sides and a nice first trade for the new GM
 
Good deal for both teams...St.Louis wasn't going to go far with the goaltending they had

When did we start spelling it "tonite?" When I went to school it was spelled "tonight."
