I am curious about the overated of the Kings pluggers. Clifford, King, etc.
Winning a Cup really boosts a pluggers value -- Moen has been cashing in that cheque for years.

The fact that the pickings for top flight dmen is slim and that we all know that they are the hottest commodities if markov was put on the block the return may be amazing.
The Kings are 1-8-1 in their last 10 games. Now would be the time to send Markov their way.
I'm really really curious what Markov would fetch on the market.
For once we may have a very hot commodity that a half dozen teams may be seriously be interested in.
He would get more than Iginla did for no other reasons than 1) Jay Feaster is a complete moron and 2) Iginla had a NTC, which I don't think 79 has any longer.
Teams with cash-flow issues probably don't want to have to pay UFA's with no arena revenue coming in for the next 17 days.
More likely Gagner for Voynov or Muzzin, and then we send L.A. Markov for Tiffoli and King. j/k

• Tim Murray on potentially making a deal with the Senators: "I would certainly know what I'm getting back — no question."
• Murray also doesn't sound interested in stockpiling 2014 picks. "We're not in a Crosby draft or a Malkin draft and that's unfortunate."
If I were GM I would look for as many first round picks in 2015 as possible. If we can get 3, even 4 then the possibility for moving up in that draft increases greatly.
Markov should get us one. Struggling to think who else on the Habs aside from Plekanec could get us another.
If we do what Legoalie would love and trade both Plekanec and Markov and secure a 2015 first for each, we'd be well on our way.
