Trade Deadline 2014

And Subban :deal:

It wouldnt shock me if he gets dealt not this year but at the draft

I hope he inks long term with us cause he is one of the few legit stars we have had in 20 years ...... but between the crap with coaches , bridge deal , does he really want to be here long term

Funny, was wondering how long it would take for someone on this board to bring up trading Price after all his Olympic accolades...

Fairly ridiculous comment. Subban is the first legit superstar we've had (non-goalie) in 30 years.

Sign him.

If they don't get rid of Therrien then they may as well trade Subban because he's never going to get a fair shake here.

And Babpenis is no better. Don't come and tell me that Marc-Edouard Vlasic is better or even more "defensively responsible" than PK. From the little I saw and everything I read, Vlasic produced more turnovers than a bakery during this tournament.

good post ... when the brass said they were sticking with L or R shooters on D..... PK was doomed

he wasnt going to replace Weber, AP , or Doughty

The team Canada brass had a pre tourney plan and stuck with it, just like the plan was to go with Price.

Subban was tagged as the #7 guy

I think it was a great learning experience for him as well. Maybe grow up a bit

I think so also, he got to watch two incredible dmen in Weber and Doughty...in my book those are the two best dmen in this league.

Come on now, this board is full of jokers. I'm actually surprised it took as long as it did.

Not a fan of the comedy are you?

Not Weber the giveaway machine ?

But his shot was welcomed :thumbup1:

Weber was probably our worst D defensively. And Doughty was awesome, but he pulls the same risky stunts that PK does and no one ever says anything. Dude even lost the puck today after trying a nifty move, and other times went deep without getting back into position with puck getting turnovered. Yet the whole team still plays with him, and adjusts according to what he's doing.

If only Subban's teammates play with him like Doughty's does, instead of watching him go, and whine about how he tries to do everything by himself. Doughty is a better player, I get that, but man, we should just let PK play his game.

PK and Babcock had nice words for each others when the players were celebrating on the ice....both smiled and hugged......you can tell that PK was just happy to be there.....and Babcock was happy that he took it like a pro without whining or distracting comments in the media....he was supporting his teammates with a big smile the whole tourney

Im hoping 27 falls in that category as well

he should if we dont ruin him like we did others

the start of next year he should be taking over as the number 1 center and getting first wave of pp time

no need to spend 300 posts on who he should replace in time

Don't worry, Price isn't going anywhere, as others have already mentioned his return wouldn't be nearly what he is really worth...
