Trade Deadline 2014

Winning a game is not the same as winning it all.

I feel we could win a lot more games if Therrien wasn't such a dolt. As much as I disagreed with a few of Bobcock's decisions, I can't really complain too much now that they won the gold.

BTW, I don't even think Count likes MT.

I am hearing that it is not likely that Ryan Miller will be traded by the Deadline and Sabres are turning attention towards re signing him.

I'd like to have Callahan on our team even though he is oft injured.

The price tag will be hefty though, as will his contract demands.

Dreger says there's a 99% chance the Rangers deal Ryan Callahan.

So a team like Rangers, who are in the playoffs, have no issue trading their captain who happens to be their heart and soul....but if the Habs trade an aging dmen, it means he are throwing the season away ?

Only in Montreal....

Callahan's career high is 54 points. Let some other team overpay.

Not disagreeing....

Just pointing out that Rangers (and other teams) have no problem trading their top players even if they are in a playoff run...

Stupid philosophies like that prevented us from cashing in on guys like Souray, Theodore, Saku, Kovalev, and other...

except we don't know if Gainey had that "philosophy" or was just shitty at his job

when you repeat the mistake numerous times, then it's obviously your philosophy

Just like not negotiating during the season is your philosophy.

At least he nailed it on the Gomez trade...

Who made that argument?

Sooooo.... what have the Rangers done recently that makes you want to follow the same path as them?
