With the logjam up front, I would think it would make more sense to have him start in Laval with his best friends and wait for injuries to happen. I don’t see much downside in that approach. Even half a season in the AHL would do him wonders.Talking heads think best spot for Slafkovsky is third line rather than Laval.
He’s not ready for top six yet, apparently, but MSL wants to work with him.
