Wondering how this affects negotiations with Skjei (assuming they want to keep him). Similar GP, G, A, P, +/- the last 4 years or so. Skjei is older and not needed as a top pair guy here.

Obviously these guys aren't all NHLers next season, but as the Canes started the season on the older side league wide, love seeing these guys locked up.

Carolina has been able to keep Marchand in check very well the last few years. The playoff season Marchand had 1 point in Raleigh IIRC. I am surprised how well they kept him in check on the road this year though.
