Wondering how this affects negotiations with Skjei (assuming they want to keep him). Similar GP, G, A, P, +/- the last 4 years or so. Skjei is older and not needed as a top pair guy here.

Carolina has been able to keep Marchand in check very well the last few years. The playoff season Marchand had 1 point in Raleigh IIRC. I am surprised how well they kept him in check on the road this year though.
