2019-20 Miscellaneous NHL/Hockey News Thread

And Chicago takes out Edmonton. Both 12 seeds have advanced. If last year was wild card chaos, what do we call this year?
 
Only 2 games today, Avs/Golden Knights at 3, Lightning/Flyers at 8. Both games will decide the top seeds. But how will we survive with only 2 games after yesterday’s chaos?
 
Yesterday had a real nice college football Saturday vibe, didn't it? Or maybe more appropriate, first weekend of the NCAA basketball tournament vibe. Wall to wall action from noon to late at night.
 
Yesterday was fun for sure... I started at noon (on another monitor next to my WFH setup) and stayed until the bitter end, what 2am this morning?

Only 2 games today might mean I get some work done on my house project.... might.

Up to 25% now since they both lost yesterday. Wonderful.

I'm hoping Winnipeg draws the lucky straw, I don't know for sure but I've read it was their slot that won the first lottery anyway. They're out West and not annoyingly already over-blessed with #1 overall picks.
 
Vegas grabs the top seed in the Western Conference, beating the Avs in OT, 3-2. They came in as the 3rd seed and won all 3 games. The Avs are the 2nd seed. The Blues and Stars play tomorrow with the winner grabbing the 3rd seed.
 
Flyers up 2-0 on Tampa with 6 to go in the first. Lightning look terrible and lost Hedman to an ankle injury.

Some have said that about the Habs with the way Weber, Petry, Chiarot and Price are playing.
 
Dallas picks up their first win since David Ayres night, beating the Blues in the shootout 2-1. They scored with an extra attacker for only their 4th goal of the tournament to tie it. Before that, they had scored 3 goals in a 5 minute span against Vegas and nothing else.
