2021 Playoff Thread | Round 1 | Habs/Leafs

No doubt in my mind Caufield & Romanov will play at least 1-game on this back-to-back. I also suspect that was the plan from the beginning

winning game 1 was stupid - i was happy enough to lose with no pressure but these assholes sucked me in with that win and now i care about the outcome

at least we are better than the oilers

Can’t see how a new GM can turn this around fast like Rangers did....just can’t

The new GM needs to build through the draft, assuming ownership are ok with it, especially after losing lots of playoffs revenues in past 9 years.

We need to allow our young centers to learn through their mistakes....and that will include Poehling next year....and if you wanna salvage KK, put him on 2nd and live with it....all season long...and throw him in crucial situations

No more sheltering behind Danault type players

Tank in the right years and all is fixed. Two potential generational players are coming.

Neither are generational.

Bedard has the potential to be in a MacKinnon situation, where he'd be nipping at McDavid's ankle for the title of best player in hockey, but nobody would actually think he's the better player.

Also, getting two superstar players would greatly help this team, but ask Deadmonton how that's working for them.

The way the contracts have been given out and the length? There is no quick fix. It's going to be a long, GOT-style winter.

We are doomed starting next year

The kicking the can down the road may have finally hit the end of the road

I don't see how the hell we get out of it , going to be some painful years in Habland unless Covid 2021-2025 is upon us

was just thinking about this.

Detroit is actually starting to make some strides. Buffalo has an ok roster but needs a good coach to sort them out.

It's not out the question that we finish last in the division next season. Not likely, but not out of the realm of possibility.

The real kick in the dick is going to be seeing how good Ottawa will be because they actually did a proper tear down

This one needs to be redone with them in clown costumes getting a pie in the face from Galchenyuk.

I’m fully expecting a tank for Bedard and I better get out.
