Brind'Amour is correct ... you could name the award after Slavin. He's the very model of the criteria.

That’s completely missing the point. There are situations when it's obvious that lip service is being offered ... injuries, for example ... but in the case of specific people talking about stuff where you know the background, you CAN discern for yourself. This attitude that everybody is lying about or spinning everything all the time is pretty freaking cynical.
Thanks to all of you who provided your thoughts on streaming services. Signed up for YouTube TV this morning and cancelled my U-verse!Massive fan of YouTube TV here. We switched to it about nine months ago and have found it very satisfying. We separately subscribed to Bally Sports+ (and have since dropped the subscription at the end of the Canes' regular season) and will do so separately next season once we see the various options for doing so.
I made the point in the first place, so ...That’s completely missing the point.
Nobody here said he’s lying but he’s making the only statement about it he can really make. It might be 100% true. But since he can’t really say anything negative about it or publicly expressing concern then it might be less than 100% true.
Just like RBA. Everything he’s said up til after he signed the new contract was he ONLY wants to coach here. But after he signed his comments seemed to indicate that he may have a desire to coach somewhere else in the right circumstances- and he was glad it didn’t get to that point. But just weeks before he said he wasn’t worried about it, it would get done etc. which it turns out wasn’t 100% true or maybe not 100% complete, but was also the only comment he could really make.
Doesn’t mean we think he’s lying so much as the range of comments he can make about it are severely restricted.
You don’t have a monopoly on the points. You made a post. Someone replied expressing the opinion that you can’t just believe what they say in the media. You criticized their reply. Your critique missed the point that’s all. Keep arguing though, it suits you.I made the point in the first place, so ...
I’m trying to convince my wife to do the same. It’s a losing battle, despite her constant complaint that our bill is too high. Were you using U-verse for internet too? If so, who did you switch to?Thanks to all of you who provided your thoughts on streaming services. Signed up for YouTube TV this morning and cancelled my U-verse!
Nah ... I'll just keep calling out people making up opinions out of whole cloth and presuppositions. That's my beef whether you guys understand where I'm coming from or not.You don’t have a monopoly on the points. You made a post. We had the full AT&T bundle - wireless cell service, internet and U-Verse TV. When they raised our U-verse bill by $21 per month a few weeks ago, it was the final straw for us. Cable TV works great, but it's ridiculously overpriced. I don't lose U-verse until June 10, so I'll have an opportunity to see how YouTube TV stacks up - but it's an incredible cost savings. Now that the bundle is broken, we may investigate whether it makes sense to switch our cell and internet service, too. But that's not a priority.I’m trying to convince my wife to do the same. It’s a losing battle, despite her constant complaint that our bill is too high. Were you using U-verse for internet too? If so, who did you switch to?
You can drop U-verse and keep your AT&T internet. That's what I'm doing. Our AT&T internet comes with HBO Max, so that's a benefit. Take a look at the streaming options - I was focused on Hulu Live TV and YouTube TV, both of which provide about 80-100 live channels for less than $78/mo. When I signed up for YTTV today, there was a special low price of $52 for the first 3 months.I’ve only ever had Verizon for cell service and that’s not changing, they keep my future daughter-in-law employed. If I drop U-verse, I don’t want to move to Spectrum cable, from the posts I see on the NextDoor hell site, they have a lot of outages, even while my AT&T service is uninterrupted.
No, it isn't part of the package - but you can add ESPN+ to your streaming apps if you want.No ESPN+ option for Youtube TV?
LOL...your son mentioned this conversation to me at the end of one of our meetings yesterday! Thanks to all of you who provided your thoughts on streaming services. Signed up for YouTube TV this morning and cancelled my U-verse!

That’s as big a margin as Barkov in the Selke voting.Wow, that type of landslide makes Slavin a likely candidate to win it again.
Yup, and both of them seem a bit inevitable to keep that momentum given how the NHL voter pool handles those two awards. That’s as big a margin as Barkov in the Selke voting.
