Not playing around anymore.
I could get on board with this if it's the Big Austrian. We need to beef up the blue line if we're going to be playing small D like Hutson in the future. One of the defencemen at 9 and Musty @17…

I think there's a deal to be made with Washington. Rake them for #5. They're aging and would likely pay more than others. My assumption, based on current info, is that Michkov is selected in the 4-8 range. I doubt he gets past Washington if it comes to that.
No one "in the know" seems to think that he'll be a top pairing d-man in the NHL.I could get on board with this if it's the Big Austrian. We need to beef up the blue line if we're going to be playing small D like Hutson in the future.
Leonard at 6 or 7, along with the 12th pick or Carter Hart.Would folks rather have (a) Smith or Leonard @ #5 or (b) # 9 AND #17.
Looking for a second pairing minute eater for when we're up in games. They don't all have to be scorers, need a horse to spell Xhekaj. No one "in the know" seems to think that he'll be a top pairing d-man in the NHL.
I'd take their first this year and next, Hendrix Lapierre and more minor stuff.Question is, #8 and +++?
I quickly looked at their group of prospects. Are we convinced they are good trade partners?
I'm not using a high/very high first round pick on that.Looking for a second pairing minute eater for when we're up in games. They don't all have to be scorers, need a horse to spell Xhekaj.
9 or 17 is very high? I wouldn't even drop that low from 5.I'm not using a high/very high first round pick on that.
9 is too high for that. There will be better players available than him at 9.9 or 17 is very high? I wouldn't even drop that low from 5.
At 6 & 12 I would go Leonard and Musty. You're done beefing it up upfront and can trade Anderson for other needs.
Then go with the smooth skating Sandin-Pellikka9 is too high for that. There will be better players available than him at 9.
If Dvorsky, or even Sale, are still there at 9, I'd take either of them before any of the d-men mentioned. Then go with the smooth skating Sandin-Pellikka
I'm not passing on Smith for any of those guys. Doesn't make sense. Who cares if we're getting deeper at center. That's what you want.If Dvorsky, or even Sale, are still there at 9, I'd take either of them before any of the d-men mentioned.
Smith will be gone by 9.I'm not passing on Smith for any of those guys. Doesn't make sense. Who cares if we're getting deeper at center. That's what you want.
