That was Pronmans point - Habs will have the opportunity to select either Demigod or Lidstrom at 5OA if they so chooseLevshunov won’t be available at 5.

Based on size alone?Lindstrom could become another Bobby Smith.
I would take that in a secondLindstrom could become another Bobby Smith.

I wouldn’t.I would offer 5OA to Dundon for Svechnikov
Of course, but that's a pipe dream.I would take that in a second
Not his skating in 2024I would take that in a second
Yes in a secondI would offer 5OA to Dundon for Svechnikov
From what I know about both players, I couldn't disagree more. Smith was an incredible passer with hyper-elite IQ and vision. And he was slowish and relied on slowing the play down and and playing keep-away with his stickhandling, size and reach, until he found an open linemate. And he wasn't physical and didn't possess a mean streak. Lindstrom is a horrible setup guy. He's a center with 19 assists in his draft year. 19. It's a telling stat. His vision and IQ are questionable at best. But he's actually got good speed, and a good motor, and definitely is a physical player that has a nasty side. I think he's closer to Byfield for example, than anyone that plays like Smith. A closer comparable to Bobby Smith in this draft, would be Sennecke. At least, style-wise and attributes.Lindstrom could become another Bobby Smith.
He's already producing, just turned 24 years old. And 7.75 for another 5 years. It's the bird in the hand vs 2 in the bush conundrum.I would offer 5OA to Dundon for Svechnikov
