What a job by Jim Nill though – Tyler Seguin and Jason Spezza in his first two offseasons.
No wonder Jim Nill turned down being interviewed by the Habs - much easier attracting talent in hockey backwater Texas. What a job by Jim Nill though – Tyler Seguin and Jason Spezza in his first two offseasons.
Also doesn't help when top end players want nothing to do with playing north of the border....How come Nill has been able to trade for 2 #1 centers in 2 years while we haven't been able to trade for one in 20 years?
Also doesn't help when all those centers seems to be traded from our division.

Glad to see Spezza leave the division. He always seemed to do well against us.
Brutal trade by the Sens. I guess that's what happens when you have limited trade partners.
Not that brutal , if douche bag Spezza would of given more teams to work with the return would of been better . Chaisson is a solid kid who could be a 25 goal scorer in Ottawa . Bottom line is they were not going to resign him , they got ahead of the curve and got some assets for him.
I understand the circumstances but 3 prospects for a #1 center is a brutal trade no matter how you slice it.
