We wouldn't need to get finds like that if only we'd stop giving away guys like McDonaugh for nothing or letting guys like Tinordi rot in the minors.

Funny enough, Gorges is the exact player Toronto needs. They would have loved to get him just for his leadership, even if his body might be starting to betray him.

But still, a 2016 second with no money being retained is a good trade.
