Its enough to make a big deadline addition with retention. Add Kerfoot's salary and you could add almost $8 mill in total cap hit (they are in LTIR so have to fit the whole thing).

Holland will definitely get a lot longer of a window to figure things out in Edmonton. I don't think there's even a sliver of an argument he's done a better job constructing a roster. But yeah, first round win in a shitty conference buys you some rope, I guess.

Also doesn't hurt he's part of the Old Boys Network instead of Dubas.
