Something to do with escrow being fully paid out/caught up. Its been keeping the cap artificially low paying for the covid downtimes.

From a cap perspective the jets are well constructed. No long term deals. Their only iffy contracts are Schmidt Dillon and Demelo but I don’t think they’ll need to give up anything of value to move those guys.

Jets issue will always be location. Players will tolerate it if they win. If they are not, they will want out.

I've never seen this happen to any team at the same time, but anyone who's been to Winnipeg can't be surprised it's happening to the Jets.

Winnipeg was always a bad idea from a players standpoint. What 20 something year old millionaire would willingly want to live there?

As much as we rip on Winterpeg, to be fair, up until now Winnipeg hasn’t really had any issues with retaining its players, have they?

And there aren’t too many cities that wouldn’t have a tough time retaining their stars when the team hasn’t even gotten close to winning for years, most of the core is pushing or past 30 and it’s obvious to everyone except management that a rebuild is needed.
