Unfortunately Bertuzzi has had similar even strength production as Timo. But Timo is well underwater in xgfrel during his time in NJ, while Bert has been leading the leafs in xgfrel from day one.

Xgf boners won’t get Bert his desired long term deal at more than $5.5m though. Eye test also isn’t seeing more value than that yet. Yesterday was his best game as a Leaf by a lot but he’s not really doing the power forward kinda stuff that I would expect of him. If he doesn’t really catch fire and ends up with like 40 points, I’m very curious to see what happens to him next year.
