Looking over all the rosters, the fairest competition out there would be Canada vs USA vs Europe.

Here is an idea... IIHF holds qualifying tournament for lower ranked nations. Top 8 ranked get auto bids and the rest have to qualify. 16 total teams in tournament and run it as an actual international tournament like every other fucking sport does.
