Trade Tavares, sign Skjej and Roy + extend McCabe and you probably don't have to worry about your d corps for the next 5 years.

Then you're missing a 2c obviously but one of those are available every deadline. In the meantime you can experiment there with Nylander or Domi if you can afford him. Holmberg 3c.

better to pay 1.5x for Zadorov then whatever the hell the bad oafs get and just let the city fall in love with this dude.

Barring a legit #1 dman being available in trade, or pulling a forsling out of your ass, that’s probably as good as they can do. Guys like Montour, Walker, Tanev etc work too.
 
I pay that extra for Zadorov cuz I think his attitude and style will play well here.
He can hit amd cause damage like lybushkin but has more offense. A perfect number 4.

And a second pair of mcabe and Zadorov would be frightening. Then choose between montour, Tanev or Roy.

Yeah me too. I assumed Pettersson's issue is tendinopathy too since they're often used interchangeably and tendinopathy is the far more common of the two. But regardless both don't really go away permanently and need to be managed.
