Strawman argument. Crosby was never a one man band. He had Malkin, Letang and others. Lidstrom was also not alone. Even McDavid has, at minimum, Draisaitl. Price has had his career wasted while being surrounded by stiffs who can't score. If his teams had been any good they wouldn't have needed him to pitch shutouts just to have a hope of winning a game.

The other players you mentioned could all have a bad game and still win because their teams had talent on the roster besides them. But any game in which Price isn't lights out is a guaranteed loss.
