Disagree, there is actions that would benefit teams and players.Yep.
But I doubt players side would be on board with most of it.
Wow, you can't be that devoid of imagination. What is the league gonna do , move CMD around every year for 10 game stretches to the shit teams
Make the nets 2 feet smaller for shit teams against playoff teams
Teams stink mainly because of bad personnel decisions , coaching , etc.....
Any examples?Disagree, there is actions that would benefit teams and players.
Pretty much anything that increases their autonomy with costing them money, or increase the money they get. Reducing time to autonomy, more flexible buyout rules (without impacting money owed to players), less draft rounds (meaning more young free agent players), luxury tax (more money), etc.Any examples?
I can see things like reducing contract length, reducing time until UFA, increasing draft age, etc
Yeah reducing the compensation for offer sheets would help too. And I can’t see players being opposed to this.More offer sheets need done too with a franchise tag for one player so that every team can afford a superstar
Not sure if Montgomery survives that one?
Offer sheets are the low hanging fruit. They need to be less restrictive.Or just being able to use acquired picks for compensation would open up tons of possibilities.
Offer sheets and buyouts imo.Offer sheets are the low hanging fruit. They need to be less restrictive.
Wow, you can't be that devoid of imagination.
So just making nets different sizes for different teams?Pretty much anything that increases their autonomy with costing them money, or increase the money they get. Reducing time to autonomy, more flexible buyout rules (without impacting money owed to players), less draft rounds (meaning more young free agent players), luxury tax (more money), etc.
