Coaches are the team drivers, saying they aren't important is beyond Cromagnon man.

Neither of those things would have changed the outcome. He left Monty in there because his backup is garbage. And playing on the off side doesn't explain Matheson's turnovers. He just wasn't very good last night. It happens.

You keep saying that not taking Michkov was a mistake when you haven't yet seen what Reinbacher can do for us. That RD you said we don't have? We do have him. His name is David Reinbacher.

I'm not saying that coaches are not important. But coaches needs to have options. With Primeau he doesn't. It is on management to give him that option. Pretty much the same with Pezzetta. Nobody is afraid of missing a game because Pezzetta is not a valuable option.

Two things can be true.

Yes I know this but he took the job on a rebuilding team and if you can't navigate the waters then you get out of the boat.

We don't have him. He was horrible last year and is now out for a year. Habs have not had issues with D the last few decades. But haven't had an elite scorer. So even if Reinbacher becomes a Markov, subban, Weber level dman I still want the superstar forward that I have not seen in my lifetime.
