Dach was a gamble as 2C, if we can get a top 6 forward out of him, I'm ok with that. I'd put Slaf with Monahan though.

I'm perfectly fine with Dach making it as a top line winger and faceoff ability should Suzuki get tossed off the draw.

not really; this admin does things differently (ie not by mindless habit)...they seem to have no problem burning a year of Slaf's entry level deal but they also won't have any hesitation to send him down if his play warrants it
