With whom? KK? Maybe he just sucks. Chucky? Scored 30 goals twice. Just partied too much. I'm not saying that Demidov IS NHL-ready, because I don't know. It really has to be a case by case decision.

Besides Gavin McKenna, there's no real way of being able to judge the 2026 draft. Most of those players haven't even started playing Junior yet.

Assuming he's still a 50+ point player, you should be expecting a lot more than a first round pick for a top-4, PMD that gets 50+ points at 50% retained.

I know Winnipeg's not in any position to agree, but a Matheson @ 50% for McGroarty ise xactly what I'd try for.

Matheson makes $4.5m. I wouldn't retain shit. Pay up bitches. Straight up for McGroarty though does intrigue me.

Good but unproven prospect for a guy you can play on your top pair that is making 2nd pair money…. Jets would have to sweeten the pot

Salary fits them too. A #1 producing D for $4.5m for 2 more years? Yeah maybe so, add to it.

Jets can’t dither too much. If McGroarty goes back to Michigan for his Junior year, he might just go the four years to be a UFA.
