The team simply cannot compete in the top-tier. But they’re starting to show something in the middle and bottom tier.

And that one win against a "top tier" team was the opening night win against the Laffs? I think this is evident in the way they play, they don't trap or bully more skilled teams at all, they only steal games due to goaltending. But we do have more talent than other crappy teams so that's why we have a great record against them.

It’s amazing that one can play at 101 point pace over 17 games and yet still be bottom 3 in the league because you have crapped the bed so hard and the other 10 games.
