Yeah, some people are cool with writing someone off for a very stupid non violent mistake they made at 17.

If the kid can not do douchebag things going forward, I'm happy to have him. If he does though... I give him no leash.

Yeah, that was dumb too... And douchey. Not worth ruining his life.

I don't know if things I did were as bad or worse at 17... But as someone who was way douchier at 17 than at 22, 25, 30, 45... I am just not willing to destroy a career for that.

A rape, or assault... Yeah, that crosses a line that just can't be crossed. This deserves punishment, but not lifelong punishment.

And he was punished . . . in Sweden, where it happened. . . which is how it should be IMO.
