The Athletic prospect guy (Wheeler) refused to include Logan in the Habs prospect ranking. I (and many others) took him to task.

They took the posts down, even tho they were well reasoned and upvoted.

When Basu and Godin write about Logan (which is almost never) they don't even mention his on ice behaviour.

Basu is the worst when it comes to Logan.

I'm one of the subscribers who go at them.

Putin and his supporters need to be cancelled. Logan? Not so much.

I've said this before, I reserve cancellation for genocide.

On the Habs board, I feel everyone is fair in regards to him. But I also feel that the posters here are much more level-headed.

Cancel culture and the Kardashians are probably two of the worst things in the last decade. Some people don't even know what they are doing anymore, they hop on the bandwagon blindly, rather pathetic.

Because if he murdered or raped someone, no one here would have the same opinion on him. The punishment needs to fit the crime. He served his suspension and got enough crap for a while already. These NDP voting journalists need to fk off already.

That's correct. If he was a murderer or a rapist, then fuck him.

However, there are some on Twitter & HF that are treating as if he was just that. Thankfully, those people don't visit this forum.

The thing with Nero is he never knew when to stop putting bandaids on large wounds

He positioned his team knowing the Covid opportunity gave some renewed hope , I understand that part was to save his ass and salvage what he could from the roster .

However , he would of never made these solid moves for futures IMO or moved more vets way before they were to get fugly contracts

Basu , Todd , and even Cowan have gone way too far on this one

Even Wheeler wouldnt rate Logan in our prospect rankings cause he followed the nerdy herd on this issue

Okay... I admit I was triggered with the thought that supporting the kid (as long as it was a one time deal that he's learned from) was the same as supporting someone who is accused of rape by 20+ women.

I should know better though.

I hate what he did and think it was a terrible thing to do. I believe he needed to be punished. I can't say for certain that the punishment was adequate. But he was punished.

I actually hate that I have to somewhat defend him.... Cause I'm really against what he did.

No one thinks what he did was good . . . but there are degrees of bad, which is what some in the seem to ignore.

most in the media are afraid of appearing to be unwoke, except for those on the complete other side who want us to return to the 1950s...

there's almost nobody left in the middle because being sensible doesn't generate many clicks
