I think that's about right. I'd probably have

Demidov
Reinbacher
Fowler
Hutson
Hage
Roy
Mailloux
Beck

in that order. Demidov's the clear #1 (and Beck the clear #8, just to annoy some here), but you can jumble the rest in pretty much any order you want.

Everything after the top-8, though? All longshots to make it. Wake me up when/if they start knocking on the door.

Outside of McKenna who am I paying attention to?

Basically everyone. Keep an open mind on pretty much all the players on the Canadian & American teams and take notes of the players who stand out for you.

The Hlinka Cup is fun because the vast majority of these players are going to be draft eligible in 2025.

It's an introduction to those players.

You'll need to be a little more picky with the Euros, though, since the majority of these guys won't ever even make the jump to North America, let alone get drafted or make the NHL. This is a good idea who to keep an eye on:


For the Canadian roster:


Guys I would personally keep an eye on: Caleb Desnoyers, Matthew Schaefer (will be one of the youngest players drafted in 2025, for what it's worth), and possibly Jake O'Brien. But like I said, besides McKenna, keep an open mind and note whoever stands out for you.
