The restrictions are almost entirely provincial. The dog is literally barking up the wrong tree.
But that was never the point, was it?
I mean they are working on a class action. City and cops should be defendants too. They should file suit against the city.
they didn't try fucking anything and they're all out of ideas. fucking useless clowns. This isn't that fucking complicated. You don't need to make some grand political stand. There's a pile of laws and by laws being broken, fucking enforce them and most of this problem will sort itself out. You have a noise ordinance (a db limit during the day, and a disturbance based system after 11pm), fucking use it. You have parking laws, enforce them, etc. This really isn't complicated. Like in most "movements", there's a whole lot of pretenders surrounding the real ones. The first goal is to dissuade those not fully committed from sticking around.
Lot of these guys just plain have mental health issues and are extremely susceptible to disinformation/conspiracy shit, IMO. He sounds off his rocker.
facts no longer matter though
This protest is not and has never been just about cross boarder mandates.facts no longer matter though
“You just make me king of the Canada and this whole thing will end”
my god.
all i ever hear is "end the mandates"Admittedly I haven't followed it much but it doesn't seem like there's too much of a cohesive theme or reasoning for the protest. I track that dude I knew from high school who is one of the leading Canadian "patriots" (it fascinates me deeply to get into their heads) and he's all over the place. What is it about exactly?
Just shameful that Trudeau won't sit down and negotiate with these totally reasonable people.
I'm sure they'd be willing to set aside their demands and settle for one of them getting named Governor-General, enough of them being appointed to the Senate to have a majority, the Liberal Party of Canada being outlawed and all of its MP's expelled from Parliament and Trudeau, several of his cabinet ministers and any NDP or Liberal Premiers being hung from a gibbet in front of Parliament.
