am I the only one who looks at that, shrugs, and says, 'okay, arrest the kids too then'.
maybe you can not charge the kids?
Arrest the parents and deposit the kids with children’s aid.

but also scary and cultish if you watch the video.

these fuckers are gonna keep escalating until there is anything resembling consequences. total failure of leadership here.
In 1970, Quebec Premier Robert Bourassa had to formally ask the feds to send in the army although it was the feds who first had the 22nd Regiment (the Vandoos) deployed to guard federal property in Montreal a few days before. But Bourassa did wind up asking for the army to help with policing (a move that was supported by all parties in the National Assembly, including the PQ) and the following day, Bourassa formally requested that the feds grant the province emergency power (so that the cops would have a free hand to crack skulls and toss people in jail without charge) This is the point at which the feds invoked the War Measures Act.Yeah, I think it's technically the province that's the only one that can ask for help. Although I did read something recently saying that if the issue deals with multiple provinces, then potentially the feds could invoke things themselves. This was in response to some of the protesters setting up over in Gatineau and whether that was a bad idea or not.
Does sound like Ford has cut off their donation stream on GiveSendGo, so that's something. But we're well past the "cut off their money and maybe they leave" phase.
The Auto Parts Manufacturers Association (APMA) filed an application for an injunction on blocking the bridge in Windsor. And it's good, and stuff, but they have an affidavit from a policy officer which is truly baffling. This is the deputy chief of police of Windsor, and the guy swears in his affidavit that he believes the people blocking the bridge are violating a bunch of sections in the Criminal Code. Even lists them.
SO... you're Deputy Chief of Police, you see someone breaking the law, and you instruct your officers to please ask them nicely to stop. What?
Sidebar, the APMA's president, Flavio Volpe, is a good quote. He does not beat around the bush.
