Oh Doug. We used to love Americans (okay not really).


That’s a wee bit of projection from Doug, as a guy who spent his entire adult life living and working in America, until he smelled an opportunity to use the political base built by his brother Rob to springboard himself into political power here.

It’s based on the hopeful belief that there’s anything whatsoever to be gained from appealing to the nonexistent better natures of the American people. A belief I do not share.

But I suppose it can’t hurt. And I fully acknowledge that the kind of unhinged alternate statement I’d probably go with is why I should never be allowed anywhere near power or elected office.

What if the US shuts down the oil pipelines that supply Sarnia refineries.

200K bpd of finished product. Would be a pain in the ass, but nothing that can't be imported internationally. Could also get feedstock in by rail if necessary.
