Nearly every coach is like this and it's wild to me. Their pet bottom 6'ers are always untouchable regardless of the results but skilled young players have to play near perfect or better to stay in the lineup.

Could you imagine any young player in Toronto's system being given the run of games with the run of results Reaves was?
