The good news is since boosh makes less than the min with a 12/6/2 roster we can still create $4+ mill in cap space, so pizza boy better do something impactful.

Yeah he should be our #8-9. He will be on our top pair though.

My biggest fear is that every rumor this year has been stating that Tre has been after 2 D, not 1.

So if he goes after a bigger name D there really isn't space for everyone. It means Liljegren is gone. And I don't trust him to identify the correct one. As you said it's likely a coin flip.. We'd be depending on luck largely, because I refuse to believe the good moves he makes are "skill".

These guys are all gonna be regulars. Liljegren is the 6th right now. They get another D, thenLiljegren is pushed out or just traded.

If we want Brind'amour to replace Keefe we can buy him this summer. That cheap-ass owner ain't spending 4-5 million per on him.

- Isn't even handling the heavies, and has a 37% GF and 41.4% xG. The RHD handling the heavies? Radko fucking Gudas, who has a GF of 54% and an xG of 51.5%. Boosh is fucking 5th in defensive zone starts on Anaheim. Fucking Anaheim doesn't trust him anywhere near the heavies and he's getting fucking wrecked in light usage for fuck sakes.

- One thing he's good at is taking minor penalties. 1.37/60. Would be #1 by a lot on the Leafs.
- A positive side effect of the other team having the puck 63% of the time when he's on the ice? Tons of blocked shots. Would be 2nd on the Leafs in that. The guy ahead of him is the same guy he'll be stealing minutes from, Timmy Lilijegren. Of course Lilly does that whole shot blocking thing without the other team having the puck the entire time he's on the ice, but details details.
- Despite never having the fucking puck, this plug is also one of the worst on Anaheim for giving the puck away.


Yet again we've decided to make our contender better by getting the worst player on the worst team in the league and convincing ourselves that the way the play the game is the right way and will make us better.

Leafs seem to use analytics when drafting but someone in the org has an overrule button when it comes to deadline deals
 
Benoit, McCabe and Boosh are top 30 in dmen hits/60. So when we lose in the first round no one can say it’s because the D wasn’t tough enough.
