Murray already just cleared waivers, so if they brought him back up, he’d continue to be waiver exempt for either 9 games or 29 days—whichever comes first.

There also might be an added waiver exemption if he’s brought up as an emergency recall, but I’m not clear on the details of how emergency recalls work.

So him not being called up now probably has more to do with the fact that, in the last 18 months, the only game action he’s seen is part of one pre-season game in camp & three AHL games at the end of last year. Probably want him to get more games in before they look to him as an option.
 
pretty weird. was fine during the game. not a peep during practice. and then this morning he's tight? blech.

- if we dropped by far our 3 worst Net Rating players Lorentz, Reaves, and Hakanpaa, we'd be well under the cap (including Patches' bonus) with a fully healthy 22 man roster, which would include a high quality 4th line of McMann-Kampf-Jarnkrok, Dewar as the extra forward, and Lilly/Timmins battling for the bottom-pair puck moving slot.
