Schenn was real good for us last year and that's after I hated bringing him in.

So if we "need" a guy like that Zadorov appears to being that element while not being a complete tire fire elsewhere.

I'll admit he was better in the playoffs than I expected to be, but I didn't really think he was all that great after the deadline in the regular season and I wouldn't have wanted him back personally.

I'll hear anyone out if they wanna show me stats that say otherwise though.
 
I totally forgot that Domi and Marner both played with Zadorov til Marek just mentioned it.

He's also saying they want both Tanev and Zadorov fwiw.

Don’t think I want Zadorov. Makes too much money and who is he taking out of the lineup? assuming Klingberg is out.
 
I would assume that McCabe would be included in a deal if both Tanev & Zadorov were heading out. McCabe at 2 million next season has some value. Calgary isn't blowing it up, they're stuck in for a retool imo.

Tanev > McCabe
Zadorov > Klingberg

There are no downgrades here. We've already accepted that McCabe is miscast in a top 4 role, Tanev fixes that issue. Whatever Klingberg was supposed to do offensively, he isn't doing, so it's not like we're downgrading from Kling to Zadorov offensively either.

Well yeah, but we're not talking about crazy assets here on top of McCabe. Okay picks (wouldn't suck to have any of our 2nd rounders right about now) good but just good prospects like Voit, Villeneueve, etc
