OT: American Politics

Biden declined to the point that 66% of his voters, and senior members of his party no longer support him.

Don’t think that was the case in 2020.

Seems bad to willfully ignore that.
you said yourself, no one liked Biden in 2020. he was just not Trump.

how many people thought he was too old in the 2020 primaries?

Sure but ultimately the guy who gets more votes is typically that guy that people would prefer to grab a beer with. But yes, the abortion issue is a big one. Women may save America. No pressure!
Women are the most easily manipulated by pearl-clutching, for sure. They can be relied upon to swing liberal.

People felt Biden was old in 2020 but he got a lot of fanfare when he ass fucked Donald in the debates. And while debates typically don't matter, unprecedented events with no priors to pull any data from (like a dying man being unable to string a sentence together in a debate) could matter. It may not! But I have no confidence because we don't really have another example of that in the modern era.

Joe needs to start drinking beer and singing the national anthem.

Anyway it sure looks like Biden is staying around. Assuming he does the second debate, he’ll need a strategy to ignore Trump trying to shout over him and some way to come across as “no malarkey” Joe instead of the stuttering old man version we saw in June. And, if he does, the June debate will be forgotten.
