Fwiw, recent polls probably push a bunch of race changes

- NC to at least a toss up, but it sure looks like a light Dem lean
- Michigan and Wisconsin move to Dem leans
- Minnesota moves from D lean to D likely
- Maine's republican district should move to toss up
- Nevada is probably a Republican lean
- Arizona probably a Dem lean, but need more polls from high quality pollsters. The most recent A+ polls had Harris up 3-5 points, but one poll is one poll

Clearly the only lever Harris has to make things more affordable for Americans is communist price controls. There is literally nothing going on that can be investigated and addressed.

TLDW: Biggest meat producers in the US share critical internal information with each other (illegally, because of course) and they all use this data to collude on prices with each other. Because competition is for idiots.

But yeah, only Washington setting the price of pork can fix this.

A bunch of oligopolies

Paraphrasing Thiel here but whereas most people idealize capitalism as the celebration of pure competition, the real life end goal is monopoly or quasi monopoly (Google, Apple with their fat margins)

The industries with real competition like airlines in the US are not good investments

the idealism of capitalism is no less dumb than the idealism of socialism.

unfettered capitalism will always devolve into oligopoly and monopoly. it's the duty of all good capitalists to rid themselves of all competition by any means necessary.
