OT: American Politics

For the first time in any trump election, the vibe shift felt real for me. I felt it in my bones. I saw the youth and minorities strongly shift towards Trump, everywhere. CH1 put it best, Trump has become mainstream. And when I saw the polls that supported all of this, I had a feeling of dread.

I don't know what Kamala could have done to change this tbh. In many ways, a lot of it is due to a societal shift mostly as a result of social media. The macho man, raw milk, anti seed oil, anti woke culture that thinks trump is cool and a gangster and the culture that could never vote for a weak woman. Tough result but I was mentally prepared for this one.

I’m not saying it cost her the election, but it does demonstrate a lack of boldness to tap into new audiences.
Not just that. She looks particularly weak for skipping the show when someone like John Fetterman was able to do the show.

I don't think her team allowed her to go on JRE on purpose. Kamala, for all intents and purpose, is one of the worst political candidates for a major election in my lifetime. I honestly don't know if she can actually think coherently beyond her talking points.

Yeah despite my Kamavalanche prediction, this result is not shocking at all. Vibes have shifted (all over the world) especially among men.

2016 and thousands of polls since then prepared us.

I mean, it's still shocking, and it didn't fully prepare us, because we weren't believing it. But looking back, yeah, it makes sense. You forget how shifted the US is relative to everywhere else in the world.

The rise of healthy masculinity. Ie the preservers of peace, creators of prosperity, men of resolute nature to protect and provide.

Thank God.

Okay, I know we’ve always been against it and everything…..but what if the one thing we learned from Trumpism was to subvert democracy and just stay in power?

Emperor Obama has a certain ring to it.

Obama has been in power. Now he’s out

yeah...their guy won but now their focus is to save Trump from himself.

They’ll redo labour laws and other regs to strengthen their position and throw a few tariff sops to placate the Trumpanzees. These, of course, will backfire and they will need to find new villains.

Edit: silly me, I forgot about the formalization of corporate welfare for crypto.
