People were fine with immigration until the liberals bottled their programs badly. Our issues are not similar to other nations. We created a fucking express lane for corporations seeking cheap labour (referred to up here as Timmigration) instead of maintaining what was a very good points based system.
 
Many were celebrating a Kamala blowout but zeke was always quite skeptical. Not that it's a crime to be optimistic about a certain event taking place. For years we felt that the Leafs were cup contenders and they can barely score a goal in the playoffs. Optimism is fine. I didn't feel great being pessimistic!

this is just verifiably untrue. if you're gonna throw shade, at least be accurate.

there were no victory laps, and definitely none by zeke. there was some enthusiasm for Kamala, some skepticism and concern, and discussions about the accuracy of the polls. it appears you found this discussion somewhat offensive?

(and I will readily admit my enthusiasm was misplaced and my pre-election expectations were wrong... I thought, among other things, that the internet is not real life, but I'm revisiting that and other assumptions).

we're just pointing out (as many of us have been for 8+ years) that America is on the slippery slope towards fascism, among other observations. you clearly disagree with this, yet seem offended others still think it?

not celebrating a blowout. expecting a victory, sure. there were no premature celebrations though. there were good vibes, which were obviously misplaced.

and yeah, zeke was never on board the Kamalandslide train.

Like Trump, the view ITT of Russia is so misguided. Russia is Europe's biggest problem only if Europe's survival depends on Ukraine's corruption, which it does not.

Growth slow? It's in a recession. 2nd year in a row of contraction. First time they've had that in two decades.
