They obviously need to throw the playbook out but either way I doubt he runs again. Nobody will care about rogue Biden and the guys like FlyGuy were already sold so it doesn't matter.

The most peaceful way to transfer power is to not transfer it in the first place by ensuring that elections no longer change the status quo. They've had elections in Russia since Putin came to power and he's never lost power or even come close to losing it, at least not via the ballot box.

I think people are allowing their coping to interfere with their knowledge about how fascist dictatorships are established and how they work once they have been established. The last "free and fair" US election happened last month. We're never seeing another one.

It no longer matters and the people who have been conditioned to hate Dems would still hate them no matter what.

I personally am tired of the double standard that Dems have to be 100% ethical and the GOP can be whatever the fuck it feels like.

In any event and like I said, it's not longer matters. Democracy is dead in the US either way.

I’ve found that, even in the Trump era, the myth that Republicans/Conservatives = good economy and lower deficit and Democrats/Liberals = bad economy & higher deficit has survived unscathed. Especially among middle-aged or older white dudes.

Facts and history (either recent or older) need not apply to any debates about this. Even less so from womenfolk like yourself, no doubt.

Nah, and you'll probably feel silly that you ever felt that way the day after he kicked, his demise will then seem completely predictable. Dude is a near octagenarian who almost went off the rails when he had covid, still mainlines cheeseberders and factory processed food as the staples of his diet, does zero exercise aside from light, shambling walking and is now actively hiding his medical reports from public record.

So far he's definitely benefited from the privileges that wealth bestows but let's not conflate that with there being some sort of physical capability of pushing back death. Dude is 78, sedentary, and 300+ pounds.
