I think it's pretty clear something happened around 2015-16 to our original timeline, when we sadly moved to this much worse alternate timeline.
The events of this week have me wondering... is it possible it happened again, and we've switched over to a different, even stupider timeline?

So when the 80th anniversary of D-Day rolled around, I started a re-watch of “Band of Brothers” for the first time in a bunch of years.
Have to say, that series hits differently when 80 years after all that blood, toil and sacrifice, most of the Allies are on an inexorable march towards willingly handing their countries over to fascist governments within the next year or two.
Not to mention the resurgent popularity of anti-semitism, especially among younger generations.

Nothing that would normally be a scandal is a scandal.
Epstein associations, coup attempt, blackmailing allies for attacks on political opponents, saying he won’t leave after a second term, stealing classified docs. Nothing sticks.
