In other news Israel is going to recommend providing a 4th dose to those over 60. I love that country. Needles every 3 months 4lyfe!!!

For 4 months after dose #3. They've been spot on this entire pandemic, we should probably pay attention. And if boosting only gives us 70% protection after 1 month on Omicron... Another myocarditis needle after 4 months sounds about right. For us, we may have omicron specific doses available in 4-6 months so we'll see if we do the same or if we wait for the variant specific product.

I have kind of accepted that I will not be boosted in time to have any impact on the omicron wave. So at this point holding out for longer immunity/amp up my delta protection/whatever

Yeah I'm in no hurry. I know I'll have 3-4 months of ok protection on omicron after the booster. Doesn't make a difference whether I have that protection between December and April or January and May. Now if Delta decides it's going to skyrocket after we get population immunity on omicron... That's when I want the booster ASAP. But I assume/hope that doesn't happen.
