So Presty, my sister got covid two weeks ago but is mostly better now, but apparently planning to join the fam tomorrow night. She’s not contagious anymore, is she?

Probably not but nothing is 100%!!!! Best way to confirm is a negative rapid test two days in a row. Or at least one.


The CDC say she was fine after 5 days so I'm clearly a lot more cautious!!! But yeah in general 2 weeks is more than good.

Something tells me how enforcement of this actually goes down in practice will be... not exactly in the spirit of what they're really trying to accomplish. Makes more sense to me just to keep at limits on groups/gathering period.

New anecdote alert!! Mrs. Presto's cousin is positive. Second day of symptoms, today is worse than yesterday but mostly extremely congested. Like a bad cold, but that's about it. She has bad asthma so was semi at risk. She's in her mid-late 20s.
