The best Elmore Leonard movie by a mile was Get Shorty. I just rewatched it a month ago and it did not disappoint. Every fucking scene is genius.
I really miss Gene Hackman being in movies... : (

Yeah, I mean, into his 90's, it's retirement time. But holy shit did he leave behind an awesome body of work.it’s funny how he’s mainly known for his crime novels, and their being adapted to the big screen…..but he got his start writing short stories for Western magazines back in the day, then western novels etc….and has had a ton of them adapted to the big screen.

Russell wore so many hats on that film (actor of course, director in parts, producer, etc.,)I actually Re watched Tombstone a few weeks ago and it’s still holds even if it’s overrated ( by those who think it’s the best western)
